Meridian was established to provide practical, experience-led advisory and coordination support across construction, property and operational environments.

Founder Brendan Forbes brings over 25 years of experience spanning joinery, leadership, and project management in regulated environments. His background includes senior leadership service within the British Army, ownership of a domestic construction business, and an SVQ Level 11 in Senior Leadership and Management. Brendan is a CIOB member, currently working towards chartered status.

Brendan also holds the role of Contracts Manager at McKenzie Projects Ltd, a separate legal and commercial entity. Meridian operates independently of McKenzie Projects' delivery function; this dual role is disclosed openly to ensure full transparency with all clients.

The business draws upon experience across construction delivery, compliance-led environments, project coordination, operational planning, contractor management, and technical review processes.

Meridian operates as an advisory-led structure focused on helping clients define issues clearly, coordinate appropriate technical input, and support proportionate delivery strategies.
